You’ve got questions
how does it work?
Simply put, chemical peels are powerhouse exfoliants, working their magic on the damaged uppermost layers of skin. When a solution is applied to your face, it works to slough off dead skin; this eventually ‘peels’ off to bring a newer, fresher radiant skin below. Our chemical peel levels are designed to address different skin needs.
What can i expect during treatment?
During the peel itself, you may feel a slight burning sensation for a few minutes. When the procedure is completed, it’s common to have a sunburn-like reaction, all perfectly normal. The post-peel recovery usually involves redness, then scaling that’s over within 3-7 days. From there, the peel’s therapeutic effects continue to improve over 4-6 weeks: skin becomes more and more vibrant and rejuvenated as it heals. While that initial treatment usually offers quite noticeable results, many clients opt for a series of 3-6 peels to achieve optimal effects.
what are the results?
Chemical peels work to erase surface imperfections, improve skin tone and texture, and bring a more youthful, healthier complexion to the surface. Clients typically see dramatic improvements to their skin’s appearance within 7-10 days.
Is it safe?
Yes, chemical peels are very safe. Any discomfort—such as mild dryness, redness or flaky skin—are temporary and a normal part of the corrective process.
